The Spilt Milk music festival will be held on Saturday 26 November 2022 at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC).
Special bus services will operate for ticket holders between the City, Woden and Belconnen bus interchanges throughout the day.
For attendees taking a light rail service to EPIC and Racecourse, a special event timetable will be in place with increased frequency in both directions from 11:30am – 4:30pm and 9:00pm – 1:00am.
More information on getting to and from Spilt Milk music festival can be found at www.spilt-milk.com.au.
Impacts on light rail services:
Large crowds heading to and from the Spilt Milk festival are expected on light rail services throughout the day. Please allow extra travel time.
To help traffic flow from departing crowds, light rail vehicles will not be servicing Phillip Avenue and Sandford Street stops from 9:00pm until last service. Passengers who wish to depart of these stops must make alternative arrangements.
From 11:00pm, a number of light rail services will also help traffic flow from departing crowds by only operating from EPIC to Alinga Street before looping back to pick up more passengers.
Passengers departing northbound from Alinga Street are asked to follow advice from Customer Service Officers, passenger information displays and PA announcements regarding operating services.
Impacts to bus services:
Due to road closures in place by Spilt Milk organisers, bus route 18 will be diverted and will not service Bimberi at all on Saturday 26 November. Alternative bus stops will be in place.
All other bus services travelling to Gungahlin, and from Gungahlin to the City, will still be serviced.
Impacts to Park and Ride:
Due to traffic management by Spilt Milk organisers, the EPIC Park and Ride facility will be closed from 7:00am Friday 25 November until 7:00pm Sunday 27 November 2022.
People who wish to use the EPIC Park and Ride facility are asked to use the nearby Park and Ride facilities at Well Station Drive and Swinden Street.
