Disability parking is located at the front of the Budawang pavilion. \nHandmade Canberra is partnering with The Salvation Army to help warm Canberrans in need. As temperatures drop\, essential winter items such as blankets and warm jackets become increasingly important for those on our streets. \nThe July Handmade Canberra Market (30th and 31st July 2022) will act as a collection point for customers to drop off warm clothes\, blankets\, sleeping bags and toiletries to The Salvation Army Canberra\, for them to distribute to the people who need them the most. \nAnything you have that’s in good condition but no longer needed will be perfect. \nWhile you are dropping off your winter donations come and warm up at the Handmade Market which is all indoors. Browse three pavilions filled with a wide variety of Australian made goods with everything from fashion\, furniture\, artwork\, ceramics\, children’s toys and apparel\, jewellery\, accessories\, pets and so much more. \nEntry to the Market is free. However\, you can leave a gold coin donation for Menslink\, who have been supporting young men in the Canberra region for more than twenty years. Please enter through Gate 4\, Stirling Avenue\, off Federal Highway – entrance near Caltex and McDonalds. \nWANT TO BUY? \nThere will be preloved second hand ski and snowboard items for sale along with new items from local retail stores\, children to adult sizes. All proceeds from the event go toward supporting local ACT snow sports programs and events. \nThe Sale will be open 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday May 8 2021. \nWANT TO SELL? \nDrop off items to EPIC\, 12.00pm – 7.00pm on Friday May 7. They will then be labelled by our volunteers and put on display for the Sale on the Saturday. \nThere is a charge of $2 per item lodged into the sale. Snow Australia takes a 25% commission if your goods are sold. You will receive a balance by bank transfer after the event. \nAny unsold gear must be collected after the Sale on the Saturday between 3.00pm – 4.00pm. You can ring us to check that you have goods to be collected before coming in. \nPlease be realistic with items you want to sell\, older items such as straight skis may be unlikely to sell. Older bindings may be unsafe. Please do not sell damaged items\, such as helmets.
