The Handmade Canberra Market returns to live events!
The Handmade Market continues to showcase the best in Australian made design and produce.
The Market will be held at EPIC on April 30th – May 1st from 10am – 4pm both days. While entry to the Market is free, a gold coin donation to local charity Givit is encouraged. COVID safe protocols require using the check in CBR app on arrival.
“Please come and support our Australian makers this weekend. Show them some love and let them know that they have been missed. Supporting Australian made business is so important, so let’s give our makers that message.”

Travelling By Car:
The best way to get to EPIC is:
- If travelling from Gungahlin or from the GDE, please turn left at Gate 1 (near the Randwick Rd intersection), and follow directions of security and traffic marshals
- If travelling from the City, please turn left at Gate 4 (where the service station and McDonalds is) and follow the directions of security and traffic marshals
- If travelling from Goulburn or Majura, please Turn right at Stirling Ave (McDonald’s gate) and then turn left to make your way to EPIC Arena for parking for Handmade.
- Accessible Parking: Accessible parking can be found in the carpark on Flemington Rd with some additional spaces in front of Handmade Market and Grandstand carpark.
Please obey all traffic marshals and traffic directions whilst travelling to and from EPIC.
Travelling By Public Transport:
All visitors to Exhibition Park during this period are encouraged to take public transport where possible.
Using the Transport Canberra Journey Planner Journey planner – Transport Canberra (act.gov.au) you can plan the best and most efficient way to make it here. Taking the bus and connecting to the light rail, the trams run every 15 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays and EPIC has its own light rail stop to make the journey easier.

Park & Ride – To assist in making the trip easier, permit holders can utilise a Park & Ride site Park and Ride – Transport Canberra (act.gov.au) to connect to the Transport Canberra network.
